- Rathdowney is a small town 30K south of Beaudesert and very peaceful. I have semi-retired here this year from Victoria and I am a musician (singer, pianist, composer.) Public transport is difficult from Beaudesert. It takes an hour and a half to drive from Brisbane or Ipswich.

- After seeing the news the other night and realising that many Victorian farming families still have no access to their houses and properties we would like to offer our guesthouse (Two-storey, two bedroom with a sofa bed in the lounge room, full kitchen and bathroom facilities) to a family who continues to be affected and may like a holiday away from their temporary accommodation. We live in the beautiful Tasmanian bush and it is a little paradise we are happy to share.

- we have old farm on 22 acres near Singleton and wine country which will be available at end of March; it is fully furnished. There are dams that are not fenced in so not suitable for very young children; there are two miniature ponies and bantam chooks so any pets brought would have to be compatible with these animals.

- Beautiful 50 acre property, peaceful place half hour south of Hobart. Down to earth, Waldorf family of 5 (our children aged 10, 8 and 6), no television. Strictly no smoking/drugs/voilence please. Separate Dwelling (lined shed) available for a family. Simple living, but clean, warm, cozy and dry. Has kent fireplace, shower/bath and toilet, with basic cooking facilities + fridge. Queen size bed in separate 'room' with enough space for a few more mattresses in open living area. We have enough mattresses and bedding for up to 3 children. Can always find more bedding if required for a family to stay together. (Have another pickers hut that can quickly be brought up to speed to accomodate another 1-2 (eg older children etc) if required). We can share our laundry and will do our best to help in any other way possible for things you might need. We have two cars (one is a 7 seater) that we can coordinate to share for transport wherever possible, (assuming you have none). I am a shift worker in the city and there is (limited) public transport a small driving distance away. We are rural. Our children attend school in Huntingfield 25 mins drive, 40 mins by bus. There are closer public school options. We live on a very small single income, so unfortunately you would need to be self sufficient for power, water, food, fuel costs. Due to a young family of our own, we will naturally need to be in good communication first, before agreeing to go ahead with any arrangements.

- Our smallish cottage is on the Gold Coast and we would love to be able to help anyone who has genuinely lost their home and need temporary accommodation. We love animals so a small pet is fine. Fully fenced yard. We are located right near the railway station if you need to travel to Brissie etc. The room is not big but very comfortable and furnished with a single bed and in a nice part of the world. Would really love to help anyone from FNQ in particular but other areas no problem at all. Happy disposition ESSENTIAL as we are a HAPPY household :)
